Hi Reader,
I’m guiding a client with her Meta Ads strategy and copy, and she asked a question I hear all the time.
Do we need to wait to sell our offers organically first before running Meta Ads?
A lot of coaches and strategists recommend selling your offer organically first, then moving to paid ads.
Now, this made a lot of sense in 2020 when organic algorithms still gave decent reach.
But in 2025? I don’t fully agree.
Yes, if you’re a new business owner planning to DIY your ads, it’s probably wise to validate your offer organically first. That said, I’ve also helped many new business owners run successful ads with the right strategy in place.
If you’ve been in business for a while and you’re willing to get the right guidance from an expert, Meta Ads can significantly boost your conversions.
I’ve seen it firsthand, working with clients on ad copy and marketing strategies how the media buying landscape has shifted over the years.
Right now, I genuinely believe it's a good time to invest in Meta ads because the bid rates are speculated to become more expensive in the next 12-18 months.
But I have one condition before you run ads.
Fine-tune your messaging first so you know your budget is going into the right baskets.
Messaging plays a massive role in ad performance.
Even the best marketing strategies won’t work if the message doesn’t connect.
So here’s my quick-start advice for running Meta Ads:
- Don’t delay your launches or promotions just to wait on organic results.
- Go ahead with Meta Ads if you’re confident in your messaging or get the help.
- Test at least 3–4 ad sets in one campaign with different copy and creatives.
- Keep it simple. Start with messaging ads or a proven offer to warm up the algorithm.
