Reader,

This entrepreneurship journey has been very rewarding for me in the last 7 years in many ways.

But it has also always come with tough choices.

I don’t believe you need to suffer through endless drudgery to achieve your dreams (in life, business, or finances). But I do believe you’ll face difficult decisions again and again.

And the closer you get to your goals, the harder those decisions become.

It's very easy to choose between "good" and "bad" but when you have to choose between "good" and "better", that's when it gets real.

You may have to choose between security vs. your soul-aligned path many times. It's not a one time decision.

Between comfort versus the new uncertain path that calls your heart.

Good friendly partner versus the co-visionary who truly complements you.

Family and society praise versus choosing the "little" business again and again.

For me, the one thing that’s made these decisions easier is knowing my core values.

You core values are the things you'd sacrifice almost anything for, even if the “anything” is wonderful.

I’ve walked away from a prestigious Fortune 50 job after an MBA to build my own business.
I’ve left almost-good relationships to hold out for the dream relationship I truly want.
I’ve learned to stop taking others’ opinions personally, discern my core values, and make every decision through that lens.

And honestly, it has been the best thing I’ve ever done!

It took the guilt away and stopped me from comparing myself to others.

That’s why I upgraded my 1:1 offer from being purely about marketing and business strategy to also working on identity and self-concept.

Working on your identity and self-concept (especially when you're going through transitions) will help you decide what's truly aligned for you.

You get clarity on what’s truly aligned, cutting through all noise and confusion.

And you see the right business model, marketing strategy, and dream clients that have been in front of you all along.

This is the beauty of identity work — and why mindset coaching is a core part of my 1:1 offer alongside business and marketing strategy.

If you feel called to work with me, reply to this email or DM me on Instagram.

I'll send you a Notion Page with all the details.

I believe in you,
Devika
