Hi Reader,
What I've noticed is when we grow up or live in chaotic environments, we get so used to it that peacefulness seems like a boredom.
That same pattern often shows up in our business and consistency habits.
I had to heal and rewire my mind massively around boredom and consistency to start seeing it as joy.
In this condition, boredom is a threat to your subconscious because you're too used to chaos and novelty as dopamine hits, so you avoid it at all costs *even* if it costs you your success.
But I believe our soul chooses to go through contrasts in life so that what we truly value becomes crystal clear. Every beautiful thing I’ve attracted so far has come from those contrasts.
To become the person I'm today, the one who values simplicity, consistency and peacefulness in my life and business, I had to go through intense chaos.
There was a phase when I was putting out fires every single day in almost every area of my life and wake up next morning with anxiety wondering what would go wrong today.
That made me truly value consistency, simplicity, predictability and simple boredom.
Over time, shiny new things stopped catching my attention. I became grounded in the foundational practices that actually moved the needle in my life, health, and business —done with consistency and predictability.
This is what gave birth to simplified marketing for sensitive entrepreneurs.
As sensitive and intuitive beings, we’re more susceptible to outside noise.
Without grounding, we tend to chase novelty and lose consistency in the very foundations that fuel our growth.
This is why consistency and grounding into fundamental strategies is very important.
Here are a few tips if you’re navigating how to build consistency in your business (or any area of life):
- Associate joy with consistency. Not by forcing it, but by aligning your tasks with what you naturally enjoy. For example: I love community, storytelling, and teaching. So when I show up online, I’m not just “creating content”— I’m connecting, sharing stories, and teaching. That alignment makes it easy to stay consistent.
- Don’t overcommit. Consistency requires you to rewire your brain with small “wins.” Start with promises you can actually keep like one post per week. Stick to that for months. Once it feels natural, increase it to two or three posts. Slowly, you’ll build the habit of keeping promises to yourself.
Right now, I’m on a 30-day simplified marketing sprint, where I share one tip each day. And you might be wondering why I’m talking about consistency on Day 2.
Because the kind of marketing I teach is not about quick wins—it’s like gardening. You plant seeds and tend to them for months (sometimes years) before you see the full harvest.
At first, it may look like nothing is happening. But underneath, roots are growing. And one day, those first shoots appear.
This is very different from “scale fast” coaching. What I guide you into is building deep, evergreen foundations, especially for sensitive and neurodivergent entrepreneurs who want creativity, freedom, and soulfulness in their business with profits.
The foundations I teach are:
- Long-form, story-based copywriting & messaging
- Community building around a shared cause
- Email marketing
When nurtured with consistency, these foundations become like a Oak tree—strong, expansive, and strongly rooted.
And that’s what I’m here to help you create: a thriving business built with both strategy and soul.
With love,
Devika
